About Us

Cari and Christine are a mother and daughter preparing to embark upon their second visit to Spain together.
In 1998 my mom (Cari) visited me while I was studying in Cadiz. Our original plans to explore Galicia were cancelled due to a freak Semana Santa snow storm. We were literally sitting in the airport flipping through a travel Spain book, deciding which direction to take. Our last minute itinerary included Salamanca (cold but beautiful, and I'll never forget the sopa!) Valencia (best zumo de naranja EVER) and the precious, familiar Granada. We spent the tail end of Semana Santa in my beloved Cadiz where we experienced the very moving processions and a beautiful and unforgettable Saeta sung from an upstairs window outside the catedral vieja. Definitely a trip to remember.
We are finally going to make the trip to Galicia and have included Cantabria, the Picos de Europa and Asturias, and we can't wait!!
